Ever heard of a “Bait Boat”, if you’re in the U.S. probably not, or at least not yet. They’ve been using them a long time overseas, and bait boats are very popular there! Here in the U.S. fishing is a little different from the Uk. Over there Carp and Pike fishing rules, and bait boats are as common as fishing poles.
A common term used by these UK fishermen is called a “swim”, a swim is a spot in the water that you have baited with fish food pellets to attract the fish to. There are several methods for creating the “swim”, all employ a way to deliver a handful or so of fish food to the given spot. One way is called a “method feeder”. A method feeder attachs to your fishing line and holds a small amount of the fish food. There are sling-shots too. The most effective way is the bait boat because of the many features. Range, and precision delivery of the bait, (food pellets) are probably two features that stand out.
So where’s the bait boats here in the U.S.?
